1974 Chevrolet Camaro Nickey Stage III

The last known Nickey modified Chevrolet Camaro was recently offered at the Mecum Chicago auction earlier this month. Even with a top bid of $125,000, the yellow Camaro failed to find a new buyer. The car has quite a history. It’s first owner kept the car until 1980.  It changed hands that year and was only driven for a few months before the second owner decided the engine needed rebuilding. After losing interest in the rebuild, the car sat in storage for 28 years. In 2010, it was uncovered for sale on Craigslist by Nickey Camaro owner Stefano Bimbi.
