Chevrolet unveiled the 2017 Camaro ZL1 at the New York International Auto Show. Details are sketchy at the moment but we do know the roofless version will offer performance similar to the coupe. The convertible will also share the same 640 horsepower LT4 powerplant and offer drivers a choice of six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission.

The new Camaro ZL1 comes track ready straight from the factory. No special options or packages have to be ordered separately to make this beast ready to take on the Shelby GT350.

Pricing information on the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has yet to be announced. The Camaro ZL1 convertible is expected to go on sale in early 2017.
