1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88 Convertible – Mecum Indianapolis Auction

Up for grabs at the upcoming Mecum 2016 Indianapolis auction is this rare 1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88 convertible. This Fathom Green coupe with green interior will command a hefty price when it rolls across the auction floor.

The L88 is one of the most coveted Corvettes ever conceived. In 1969, only 116 of these 430 horsepower big blocks were created. These were built with one purpose in mind: racing. This example comes equipped with options such as a factory heater, Rock Crusher four-speed manual transmission, and 4.56 posi-traction rear end. It also comes with an auxiliary hardtop and black soft top.
