1961 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible – Mecum Indianapolis Auction

This beautiful 1961 Chevrolet Corvette in Jewel Blue will be hitting the auction block this month at Mecum's Indianapolis auction. What’s so special about this magnificent Vette? It’s one of only 855 Corvettes that were painted in this one-year-only color. How cool is that?

This Corvette comes equipped with a CS-code 283 V8 with 315 horsepower. It’s mated to a Borg Warner 4-speed transmission. This body-off restored stunner also features a soft and hard top, dog dish hubcaps, and blackwall bias-ply wheels.
