2017 will be a bittersweet year for the Dodge Viper. The iconic Viper will celebrate its 25^th anniversary next year and also mourn its demise. The good news is Dodge decided to end production on a high note. Several special edition Vipers will be released in 2017, including the Snakeskin Edition GTC, 1:28 Edition ACR, and VooDoo II Edition ACR. The bad news is these special editions have already sold out with one exception. The Viper Snakeskin ACR will be available to order in mid-July. Up to 31 of these special edition Viper Snakeskin ACRs will be built.

“From just 40 minutes to five days, the 25th Anniversary special-edition Dodge Vipers sold out incredibly fast, insuring their future collectability,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “Our customers are asking, so we’re adding one more special edition — the Dodge Viper Snakeskin ACR.”

• Viper 1:28 Edition ACR – 28 cars sold out in 40 minutes
• VooDoo II Edition ACR – 31 cars sold out in two hours
• Snakeskin Edition GTC – 25 cars sold out within 2 days
• GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR – 100 cars sold out within two days
• Dodge Dealer Edition ACR – 22 cars sold out within five days

For those that didn’t get their hands on one of these special editions, Dodge still offers the “1 of 1” customization program. With different combinations of paint color, stripes, and wheels, you can practically create your own special edition Viper.
