Mopar lovers showing up at the 2017 Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit are in for a treat. That’s because Dodge is showing off the newest Challenger and Charger to hit the streets. The new Challenger T/A and Charger Daytona are sure to spark attention for attendees at this year’s cruise.

Both models will be available with either a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 485 horsepower or a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with up to 375 horsepower. The Challenger T/A will be available in T/A, T/A Plus, and T/A 392 trims and available trims for the Charger Daytona include Daytona and Daytona 392.

“More than 1.5 million enthusiasts are expected to come to Woodward to celebrate classic muscle cars this week, so it’s a perfect opportunity to pay tribute to the Challenger T/A and Charger Daytona with new special editions,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “We’ll continue to celebrate the brand’s muscle car performance heritage with another special-edition announcement later this fall.”

 

Production is expected to start this fall. Orders can be placed for the Charger Daytona this September and the Challenger T/A following in October. MSRP for the Charger Daytona starts at $39,890 and pricing for the Challenger T/A starts at $43,995.
