The latest edition of Chevy’s COPO Camaro was revealed last week at a ceremony at Hot Wheels headquarters. For 2018, the COPO Camaro comes with a twist. Get ready for a Hot Wheels appearance package that will be available for a select few lucky buyers. 

“The introduction of a new COPO Camaro is always exciting and the new engine and Hot Wheels package expand choices for customers,” said Jim Campbell, GM U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. “Chevrolet has supported Camaro drag racers for more than 50 years and the historic COPO Camaro program continues to offer them more ways to win.”

Only 69 COPO Camaros will be available for 2018. If you’re truly interested in getting your hands on one, register at chevrolet.com/performance/copo-registration. Candidates will be chosen from a pool of interested buyers.

The 2018 COPO Camaro comes with several engine choices. The 302 cubic-inch version is based on the Camaro SS’s LT1 but is constructed for drag racing. There’s also a naturally-aspirated 427 and a supercharged 350 that are available. All engines are mated to a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
