1970 Dodge Challenger Hemi Convertible – 2019 Mecum Phoenix Auction

One of the rarest and most desirable Dodge Challengers hits the auction block during Mecum’s 2019 Phoenix auction in March. Feast your eyes on this Plum Crazy 1970 Dodge Challenger Hemi convertible!

Dodge produced an infinitesimal nine Challenger convertibles with the 425 horsepower Hemi engine for the 1970 model year. Only five of those came with a manual transmission. This is one of them. And to boot, this car also comes equipped with the A34 Super Track Pack, which includes a 4.10 Dana differential, extreme-duty suspension and cooling components, and power front disc brakes.

Hemi convertibles are considered by Mopar aficionados as the cream of the crop. Examples in the past have sold close to $2,000,000 and it wouldn’t surprise us if this this example sells in that ballpark. That’s plum crazy (no pun intended)!

The Mecum Phoenix auction starts on March 14th. We can’t wait to see how much this beauty will command once the auctioneer pounds the gavel.
