Chevrolet took the wraps off its latest special edition Corvette at the Raceway at Belle Isle Park. The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship Edition commemorates Corvette Racing’s domination during the 2020 racing season.

Chevrolet plans to release 1,000 IMSA GTLM Championship Editions, which mimic the Number 3 and Number 4 Corvette C8.R race cars. This special edition Corvette Stingray will be available as a coupe and convertible. The Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship Edition is based on the 3LT trim with Z51 Performance Package.

This special edition Corvette Stingray will come in either Accelerate Yellow with gray graphics or Hypersonic Gray with yellow graphics. Exterior features also include a high-wing spoiler in Carbon Flash, yellow brake calipers, Black Trident design wheels, and black side rockers.

“Racing has been part of the Corvette’s DNA from nearly the beginning,” said Laura Klauser, General Motors Sports Car Program manager. “Both the Corvette Stingray and C8.R have seen tremendous success capitalizing on the benefits of a mid-engine platform – and we’re just getting started.”

The IMSA GTLM Championship Edition’s interior features a Strike Yellow and Sky Cool Gray scheme that resembles the exterior’s gray and yellow paint. Standard GT2 seats, yellow seat belts, and a C8.R Special Edition numbered plaque are also part of this special package.

The IMSA GTLM Championship Edition package pricing starts at $6,595, excluding tax.
