Chevrolet Celebrates the Corvette’s Birthday With the 70th Anniversary Edition

The Corvette is turning 70 this year and Chevrolet is commemorating this special occasion by releasing the 70th Anniversary Edition Package. This special edition package will be available on the Corvette Stingray as well as the Corvette Z06.

“Passion for Corvette runs deep at Chevrolet and this anniversary is extra special because of the excitement and sales success we’ve achieved with the eighth generation of America’s iconic sportscar,” said Steve Majoros, vice president, Chevrolet marketing. “Even after 70 years, Corvette still makes hearts race and kids dream of the open road.”

The 70th Anniversary Edition Corvettes will be available in two unique paint colors. White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat and Carbon Flash Metallic. Drivers wanting more flash can opt for the available striping. Satin Gray stripes can be added to White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat and Satin Black stripes are available with Carbon Flash Metallic.

The 70th Anniversary Edition Corvettes also includes unique wheels that feature commemorative center caps and an Edge Red stripe.

Climb inside this special edition and you’ll be greeted by two-tone Ceramic leather GT2 or Competition Sport seats, red stitching, red seatbelts, and suede microfiber seat inserts and steering wheel.

More distinctive features of the 70th Anniversary Edition Corvette include:

  • 70thAnniversary Edition exterior badging, including special Corvette crossflags
  • Edge Red brake calipers
  • 70thAnniversary Edition logo on seats, steering wheel and sill plates
  • Rear bumper protector and trunk cover
  • Custom luggage set with red stitching and 70thAnniversary Edition logo
  • Edge Red engine cover (coupe)

The 70th Anniversary Edition Corvette will be available for the Corvette Stingray 3LT and Z06 3LZ coupe and convertible.
