The final 2022 Ford GT will honor Ford’s victories at the 1966 LeMans. The 2022 Ford GT Holman Moody Heritage Edition makes its debut at the 2022 New York International Auto Show.

The Holman Moody Heritage Edition features special Holman Moody Gold paint with Heritage Red and Oxford White accents with the No. 5 embossed on the hood, doors, and rear wing. The Holman Moody Heritage Edition also features exposed gloss carbon fiber on the 20-inch wheels, front splitter, side sills, mirrors, engine louvers, and rear diffuser. Brembo brake calipers, featuring black paint with silver graphics round out this special edition Ford GT.

Inside, carbon fiber adorns the door sills, console, and registers. A cleaver matte No. 5 roundel also embellishes the door panels. The Holman Moody Heritage Edition also includes Ebony Alcantara-wrapped carbon fiber seats with gold accent stitching. The instrument panel is wrapped in Ebony leather and Ebony Alcantara while the pillars and headliner are decked out in Ebony Alcantara.

“Of all the Ford GT Heritage Edition liveries we’ve done, the Holman Moody Heritage Edition’s can’t-miss signature gold and red theme is an epic tribute to our 1966 Le Mans finish,” said Mike Severson, Ford GT program manager. “Inspired by one of the most well-known Ford GT40 race cars, this latest Ford GT honors the Holman Moody race team’s knowhow and ability to out-innovate global competitors.”

They say all good things must come to an end. The 2022 Ford GT Holman Moody Heritage Edition appears to be the final heritage edition of the current generation Ford GT. The Holman Moody Heritage will be available for approved Ford GT customers, with deliveries taking place later this spring.
